She has planned and led numerous electoral campaigns for a variety of political organisations, and she holds a Masters degree in Political Science. She was also a school commissioner at the Montreal school board (CSDM) for over a decade. She has a degree in Political Science and the School of Community and Public Affairs from Concordia University, where she was politically involved as a student for a number of years. Passionate about public policy, Melanie decided to become a volunteer for Projet Montreal in 2015 as the local coordinator for the Sud-Ouest borough association.
