A Note on City Finances - Peter McQueen

Friday April 9, 2010

"I have a position on the Montreal’s budget and finance commission; seeing the money this city throws around without consultation is sometimes scary, but be confident that we (my partner and fellow Projet Montréal councillor, Marc-André Gadoury, and I) are scanning all the contracts that pass before us. One thing my team and I have begun examining in particular is CDN-NDG's yearly endowment from the City, with an eye to eventually raising our borough’s share of the overall operating and investment budget."

Peter McQueen, City Councillor, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce district, and the 2nd Opposition's Finance spokesperson
