Biography
Émilie Thuillier is a founding member of Projet Montréal and has been working for over 5 years on issues of sustainable development in urban environments. For three years she has been political attaché to Richard Bergeron, leader of Projet Montréal and municipal councillor. Active in her neighbourhood, she has notably contributed in the formulation of proposed plans to reinforce the democratic process and the plan for local traffic in Ahuntsic-Cartierville. In the September 2008 by-election, Ms Thuillier was Projet Montréal’s candidate in that same borough where she succeeded in securing a strong showing of 27% support. Ms Thuillier has a Masters Degree in Environmental Sciences (UQAM) as well as an Undergraduate Degree in Geography (Université de Montréal).
