Biography

A bilingual Montrealer, Daniel Grenon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Québec’s École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS). Specialized in IT and telecommunications, Daniel gained varied work experience during his studies, providing technical services for Bell’s telephone network, validating Alstom's train video surveillance system, and helping to develop an online inventory-management system. Daniel is a strong supporter of cycling as an urban transport mode, and helped launch the ETS bicycle-repair centre, a workshop created to share tools and knowledge. Last summer, he was an integral part of two bike-sharing efforts, overseeing maintenance for the Plateau Mont-Royal’s Bécikverts and for the École Polytechnique de Montréal’s program.
