Biography

Carole Dupuis arrives fresh from the world of big business and is an experienced manager. She is a specialist in strategy, marketing and communications and has worked as a consultant for most of her career. She began as an editor and translator, but she soon rose to become an advisor to management of large firms in the financial sector and also the mastermind behind several highly successful campaigns. She has also worked as the director of communications and vice-president of marketing for a leading Canadian insurance company. She studied journalism, communications and translation at the University of Montreal and is co-authored of 'La rédaction stratégique’ (Guérin Universitaire).

Carole Dupuis was elected secretary of Projet Montréal at the party congress last May. In this role and as candidate for mayor of the borough of Côte-des-Neiges – Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, she is taking her first steps into the world of politics. She chose Projet Montréal because she believes the intellectual calibre of both its platform and its members is what Montrealers need and expect of their leaders. According to her, only this young party proposes ideas in harmony with the values of the children of the Quiet Revolution, of which she herself is one, and at the same time offers solutions to the challenges that will be faced by future generations of Montrealers.
